I understand that sometimes opposing defenses will just have to assume the corner will cover Bryant on their own, since they're required to assign a safety to the box to try to reduce the Cowboys run game. This is probably something you would only do once or twice, however, not for the better part of the game. It's not a good idea to do so at crucial situations when the game hangs in the to the balance. This is one lesson that Texans learned the hard way.

At the end of the fourth quarter, Bryant was having a rather quiet afternoon with just five catches, 40 yards and with no touchdowns. Murray was back to being the primary receiver in the Cowboys. But when the Cowboys struggling to hold a three-point lead in the 10-7 mark, it was now time for Bryant to don his cape.

Murray played three times to get the Cowboys all the way down to the Texans 2 yards line in their very first full run of their fourth quarter. There were under 10 minutes in the game . Cowboys came to in with Murray as well as a tight end and three receivers within the formation. One of those receivers Dwayne Harris, first lined up in the slot to the left with Dez just to the left. He then moved across to the opposite right side, and was directly in front of the tight end Jason Witten.

The issue to the Texans is that the corner who was sitting opposite Harris when he was aligned in the slot also joined him as he moved across. That showed that the Texans were in man-to-man coverage with seventh-round rookie cornerback Andre Hal lined up out there across from Bryant trying to cover himself by his own self. It was finished before the center caught the ball. Dez ran straight at Hal, then turned around and easily snagged an off shoulder fade from Tony Romo for a touchdown to set the Cowboys up, 17-7.

To their credit, the Texans weren't going to give up with their game and scored both a field goal and a touchdown during consecutive drives to draw the game. Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey missed a 53-yard field goal as time expired to force the game into overtime. The Texans won the coin flip and decided to get the ball. However their offense, their momentum did not last into the extra time and they had to punt once they had made it all the way to the Cowboys at the 48-yard line.

The benefit was that Texans were able to and did pin the Cowboys back to their own territory with a successful punt. Dallas had to begin their drive from its own 10 yard line. If the Texans could hold them down back there in order to prevent a punt there was a decent chance that they could get the ball back , with excellent field position. It would just require an extra field goal in order to be victorious. The Texans did concede one first down to the Cowboys however, following an ineffective pass and an unsuccessful stop of Murray for just a yard or more at a time, the Texans were facing the Cowboys with a third-and-9 at an area of 32 yards. It was a great situation that the defense could take advantage of.

They were, however, hard-headed. You know the consequences for hard-headed people don't you?

Instead of four players rushing - they have one the best damn quarterbacks that football's witnessed with J.J. Watt -- as well as playing coverage, Texans decided to Mut 24 coins rush Romo. In theory, this would sound like a sound plan. Watt had won some matches but, in the end, had not been able of sacking Romo throughout the game. Romo has also earned himself a reputation whether earned or not for making huge errors under pressure in the final minutes. Here is where the theory goes : With the blitz, you're once again going to have Dez Bryant thrown into coverage. Why would you want these problems?

Okay Then they chose not to send the rookie seventh-rounder on Dez and instead chose to put their best corner on him: Johnathan Joseph. Whoop-de-damn-do. After that ball was hit and Romo noticed the safety that was favoring Bryant's end of the field shift into the cheap madden 24 coins middle, it didn't make any difference in who was in front of him. Romo just threw the ball in the direction of Dez before dropping down to avoid a vicious blow from Texans security D.J.
