Southwest Airlines follows TSA rulings, which means your carry-on luggage allowance is one carry-on bag (24L*16W*10H inches) and a personal bag (18.5*8.5*13.5 inches). Your carry-on baggage is stored in the lockers and your bag must fit under the seat. According to TSA policy, carry-on bags are limited to one bag and small personal items. Pet carriers are considered as either a personal item or a carry-on if you are traveling with one.
Southwest permits two checked bags free of charge per passenger, as long as the bags do not exceed 50 lbs. and 62 inches (L+W+H).
Overweight luggage from 51 to 100 punches and oversized items larger than 62 inches might be charged $75.00 per item (one-way).
You should check your bags 60 minutes before your departure time. Unfortunately, if you do not arrive at that time, we will be unable to board you.
