I recall meeting Mac for the first time in July of 2012.
It was a sweltering summer, and the only thing you could do to stay cool was wear shorts and a T-shirt. It was very warm!
This older man in running shorts came into my studio gym as I'm finishing up a session with one of my athlete clients.
He was thin and obviously athletic, but I could tell from the way he was limping that he had a knee issue.
It appeared awful, and I began to wonder whether he had already reached his breaking point.
