Having the option to rent movies online appears to be a good thing, but it also complicates matters. When you're using an online movie rental, you need to plan everything in advance. You have to understand when you are going to want to watch a movie and then order it a few weeks beforehand. This takes preparation.If which weren't sufficient, think about the wide variety of online film rental services. Some online video rentals only send the videos to you from the email. Together with other online film rental services, however, it becomes more complex. Some of them offer online movie downloads. Even though it's nice to get this choice, it introduces a different set of problems. Possessing these online movie rental alternatives means that you'll have to set up a TV to watch VHS tapes and DVDs, and set your computer up to watch film downloads. This surely makes laying out your living room more difficult!I do use online movie rentals, but I remain with the conventional format. Maybe someday when a new standard that has higher quality is adopted and becomes the technological norm for the nation, I will change to it. Until then, however, my biggest source for film rentals will be the video store. Sure, sometimes I buy an online film rental to save money, or to receive a film that is not available at my regional store, however for the most part I would rather have the flexibility of choosing a movie when I want one.
